This course is designed to teach the rapid assessment, diagnosis and treatment of ST segment elevation MI (STEMI) patients. The major emphasis of keeping door to balloon time within 30 minutes and door to needle time within 30 minutes. Course content includes EKG analysis, defining ACS for ischemia, injury and infarction with specific leads for anterior, inferior, lateral, and right ventricular infarctions. Class length is three hours.
