Basicl Life Support

 

Basic Life Support:

BLS teaches the skills and importance of using CPR, adult, child & Infant. Use of the AED, relief of choking in adults, children and infants.  Additionally, the importance of use of barrier devices to assist with better breathing and to protect the rescuer. 

This course is designed to provide an opportunity for evaluation and completion of the cognitive and performance skills of Basic Life Support (BLS) for the Healthcare Provider (HCP).  Participants must review and come prepared for evaluation. This course is designed for the individual who has not previously taken a BLS-HCP course or if the course was taken more than two years ago.  Mandatory material for this course is the BLS for Healthcare Providers Text – there is no pre-course assessment for this course.

CPR-Heartsaver-AED:

The Heartsaver AED Course teaches CPR, AED use, relief of choking in adults, children, and infant CPR and relief of choking, and use of barrier devices.  

For those who have a duty to respond to cardiac emergencies for job responsibilities and regulatory requirements; or family, friends and the general community who want to learn CPR.  Heartsaver AED Text.

CPR-Heartsaver-First Aid-AED:

The Heartsaver First Aid Course teaches how to manage illness and injuries in the first few minutes until professional help arrives. Course content includes General Principles, Medical Emergencies, and Injury Emergencies. 

For those who have a duty to respond with first aid for job responsibilities and regulatory requirements; or family, friends and the general community who want to learn CPR and First Aid, Heartsaver CPR/1st Aid Provider Text.
