Hemodynamic Parameters, Waveform Analysis, Cardiogenic Septic Shock, Post-Open Heart Surgery, Non-invasive Hemodynamic Monitoring, Therapeutic Intervention, DO2/VO2 Relationships, Left Ventricular Failure and Heart Failure, Cardiac Surgery, Acute MI, Cardiogenic Shock, Pneumonia, Multisystem Trauma.
This class examines the critical concepts of hemodynamic monitoring to assist in providing nursing care for the hemodynamically unstable patient. Students are given the opportunity to identify the principles and practice of cardiac output measurements. Case studies are utilized. One-day course.

Intermediate to advanced:
This class examines the critical concepts of hemodynamic monitoring to assist in providing nursing care for the hemodynamically unstable patient. Students are given the opportunity to identify the principles and practice using the pulmonary artery catheter. Case studies will be utilized to enhance learning. SVO2, ScVO2, cardiac output measuring will also be reviewed. One-day course.
